Rich has been a top producing Realtor throughout Boulder County, as well as across the Denver Metropolitan area and surrounding Colorado communities for seventeen years. Representing buyers, sellers and real estate developers, his experience and knowledge of the Colorado real estate market has helped him personally facilitate over $100 million dollars in residential real estate transactions.

In 1992, Rich started his real estate career with Van Schaack and Company (which has since been acquired by Coldwell Banker). In 1993 Rich joined FourStar Realty; in addition to his personal brokerage profession, he has served as the managing sales broker since 1995 and has since then become a partner in the company. In his tenure at FourStar, Rich has grown the sales division from the 3 original brokers, to 34 brokers and a full support staff, generating over $550 million dollars in residential real estate sales. As the managing sales broker, Rich oversees all hiring, training and supervises the transactions of Four Star Realty's other brokers, ensuring the best possible client service and representation.

In addition to his Colorado residential real estate experience, Rich is a principle and managing partner in multiple real estate development projects and real estate investment holding companies. He also is experienced in managing multiple investment properties and has worked with the City of Boulder Affordable Housing Division, selling over 50 affordable homes. In 2008, Rich was nominated and elected by his peers in the industry to the Board of Directors for the Boulder Area Realtors Association.

Moving to Boulder in 1969 from Tucumcari, New Mexico, Rich grew up in a west Boulder neighborhood, attended local schools (Mapleton, Whittier, Casey and Boulder High) and still raises his family in Boulder County. In addition to living in Boulder, he has also lived in Louisville, Superior and currently resides in the Town of Lafayette. In 1991 he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) degree from Chapman University in Orange, California and has also earned his Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation.
